Membership

JOIN US | Through your membership, help us demonstrate that conservation is essential to our community and its future. Sustaining the Conservancy becomes more challenging as the area experiences increased development pressures and loss of rural landscape. Stewardship responsibilities and legal obligations associated with preserved land require a strong and effective organization. With your help, we can strengthen our efforts and widen community involvement as conservation stakeholders in the future.

Members of the Manor Conservancy receive the following benefits:

  • Regular updates from our quarterly newsletters

  • Vote for Directors at the Annual Meeting Service on organizational committees

  • Field trips offered for educational and experiential activities in partnership with farmers, environmentalists and naturalists take place on easement properties to showcase rural resource

  • Participation in projects and events that promote public awareness and show the value the agricultural, historical, and natural resources of the area

  • Access to the Members Only page on the web site for news, announcements, photo sharing and interactive discussion forums and directory

Select a membership level listed below and join online. Above the Individual Level, a second individual may be "bundled" and included in membership access and email contacts. If you prefer to mail in your registration, download the form from the link below.

We encourage online registration, saving paper and trees, receiving news in a more timely manner, and engaging in forums and information sharing with us.

Thank you for supporting our mission of saving land permanently.

Sponsorships

To become a corporate partner, please call Thorne Gould, Treasurer, at (240) 389-2531 for more information.

The corporate partnership of The Manor Conservancy lasts a full year and is a crucial sustaining contribution that strongly supports our mission. A Corporate Partnership begins at $1000 and is fully tax-deductible. The name of your company or organization will be prominently displayed on our website, and you will be identified in newsletters and at Conservancy events as one of our Corporate Partners.

When you become a partner of The Manor Conservancy, you underscore your business or organization's commitment to the rural community and its environment. You convey to your customers and constituents that responsible conservation is essential.

Sustaining The Manor Conservancy is becoming more costly as the amount of land the Conservancy preserves increases, as the reporting requirements of land trusts become more complex, and as government program funding declines. TMC's constituents, who are committed to land preservation, are aware of these economic challenges and will appreciate your corporate partnership and be encouraged to patronize your business or service.

Thank you for your support of our mission.
